Helping people affected by the war in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has created a humanitarian disaster. The UN has warned that the number of people fleeing the country may rise to 5 million in the coming weeks and months. Our teams are working around the clock to support people in Ukraine through our products, defend against cybersecurity threats, and surface reliable information, while taking extraordinary measures to help stop the spread of misinformation and disrupt disinformation campaigns online.

To help provide immediate aid and support relief efforts, Google.org and Google employees have committed over $25 million in donations and in-kind support.

Join UK relief efforts by donating to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) in support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

    DEC

The DEC brings together 15 leading aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. Pooling their resources to work as one, they are pivotal in coordinating the UK public's response to overseas disasters. At least 3 million people have fled their homes to escape the conflict in Ukraine. Heavy fighting, shelling and air strikes across the country have had devastating consequences for civilians. Homes have been destroyed. Families have been separated. Lives have been lost. DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.
