Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Utah

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 5:00 pm MDT for Northwestern Wasatch and northern Utah counties. At 4:30 pm MDT, National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of alpine to Wallsburg, moving northeast at 35 mph.

These storms have already produced winds to 60 mph and wind damage in Provo.
