The thing I like most about my classroom is that my students are not afraid to try and they’re not afraid to make mistakes. We’ve created a truly inclusive learning environment and I love to offer students instruction in a way that meets their own unique culture, social, emotional and intellectual needs. Learning in my classroom requires creativity, problem-solving, perseverance and collaboration from my students, to help them make connections to the real world. Getting the classroom a 3D Printer will give my students hands-on learning opportunities while also introducing them to technology. 3D printing gives students the unlimited ability to design, test and engineer with hands-on exposure to additive manufacturing and this will give them an advantage at the dawn of the next revolution in digital manufacturing. Nearly every subject I teach has potential for engagement.
