Dan Marino Foundation
The Dan Marino Foundation is developing an interactive solution that provides young people on the autism spectrum with interview training for future employment.
Up to 90 percent of young people on the autism spectrum are unemployed. Because interviews present a difficult social challenge for many, they need repeated training and practice interviewing in order to gain employment.
With a $700,000 grant from Google.org the Dan Marino Foundation is developing an interactive solution that mimics an interview setting, recording feedback on body language, movement, voice intonation, and eye contact to help users practice for successful interviews.
Through this solution, the Dan Marino Foundation will help enable people with autism to successfully gain employment opportunities by preparing for interviews in a comfortable setting.
