Ezer Mizion | Click2Speak
Ezer Mizion and Click2Speak are piloting an onscreen keyboard to help people with low mobility and high cognitive function better communicate.
People with high cognitive function and impaired motor skills often struggle to communicate effectively. And since currently available communication technology is both unaffordable and needlessly restrictive, many users have difficulty maintaining personal relationships and professional productivity.
With a $400,000 grant from Google.org, Ezer Mizion is working with Click2Speak to pilot their on-screen keyboard, gathering user feedback and feature requests to improve the core technology (including supporting additional languages, platforms, and input devices)
With an affordable, multi-lingual, and easy-to-use on-screen keyboard, users with impaired motor skills and high cognitive ability will be able to communicate easily and quickly.
