Samasource

Scaleable model to connect more tech companies to untapped labor pools

Problem

Access to well-paid tech work still remains out of reach for millions of job seekers in the world’s least-developed countries because companies don’t have the tools they need to successfully train and hire the new talent they desperately need.

Project

Samasource is using its $2 million Global Impact Award to develop tools based on its successful model for hiring new tech workers from poor populations, providing other companies with a fast, scaleable and cost-effective way to identify promising talent.

Impact

With the Global Impact Award, Samasource aims to impact 250,000 people through training, employment, and income -- the majority of whom are women and young people from underdeveloped regions.
