2011 Turkey Earthquake

On Sunday, 23 October 2011 a magnitude 7.2 (Mw) earthquake struck eastern Turkey, near the city of Van. More than 2,260 buildings in Van and the vicinity were damaged or destroyed with more than 460 killed. We will continue to update this page with maps, links, and other useful resources.
